Art Shaped Into Wraps

The concept of creating wraps out of my paintings occurred purely by chance.

While creating scarves from my artwork, I noticed that the production process called for excess silk fabric, large and small, going unused and ultimately to waste. This, in itself, started to become a unique design challenge for me.

Thus began the joyful process of mixing and matching of these gorgeous natural silk ´leftovers´ and placing choice artwork directly on them. The result was these unique, elegant and versatile, zero-waste wraps.

And being a woman myself, I wanted to make sure to wrap an extra layer of cosiness to this already luxurious experience of wrapping art on to vibrantly colourful natural silk.

I started relating to and designing for our constantly changing figure. After all, whether we are going through pregnancy or menopause, we want to look and feel gorgeous in the most opulent way possible.
